Bottom-Locking PDS Slats
Fence slats are available in many colors and styles, slats do provide some privacy at an angle view, your fence posts require a heavier or larger diameter pipe for added wind resistance if you are considering slats in the future.
The PDS bottom-locking style slat provides an economical and attractive way to enhance any chain link fence. Bottom-locking slats are flat tubular in shape, with reinforced "legs" inside for extra durability. This slat has a patented channel providing a "snap in" locking effect for security.

This slat is manufactured 3 1/2" shorter than the overall height of the fence. The wind load factor and privacy factor is approximately 75%. Slat width 1 3/32". Slat is made for 2", 2 1/4" and 2 3/8" mesh and 9, 11 or 11 1/2 gauge wire. The manufacturer provides a 10-year limited pro-rata warranty.

Wing Slat
When you need increased privacy, Wing Slat is the answer. With the proven quality and durability of our standard slats plus unique "wings" for extra screening and security, these slats are self-locking - no channels are needed! Includes a rigid, flat tubular body, with "legs" inside for extra support.
Flexible and resilient wing portions are positioned on each side of the slat body. Serrations are added to the wings for easier installation and locking power
This slat is manufactured 2" shorter than the overall height of the fence. The wind load factor and privacy factor is approximately 90%. Slat is made for 2" mesh, 9 or 11 gauge wire. The manufacturer provides a 10-year limited pro-rata warranty.

Tennis Court Slats:
We can special order slats for 1 3/4" tennis court mesh.
Remember you must have a larger diameter or heavier gauge pipe if you are installing slats or the wind will take your fence down.
If you are installing slats into an old fence then the wire must be in good condition or it will make it difficult for you to slide the slats in.
