Choosing a vinyl privacy fence
Compulsive home owners are often excited by the possible transformation of their home and garden in their imagination, yet fret over the abundance of so many options even for the simple thing like fencing.
From wood to vinyl made fences, choosing a style is clearly easier said than done.
When you are trying to decide on the type of fencing you'd like to purchase, you first assess your budget.
Do you have enough money to splurge and go for vinyl? If you do, then vinyl fencing is a great choice.
Wood fencing has always been a favorite pick for people who love its elegance. Although wood is great to look at, it has to be maintained and re-stained every couple of years.
The top and bottom rails of vinyl fencing have extra strong ribs, with a galvanized steel channel in the bottom rail, not to be confused with the plastic u-channel on the edges of your fence.
The 8 ft.(7'10") wide sections can be cut down to any length you need.

City of Spokane Permits-Fence (509) 625-6300
Spokane Valley at this time does not require fence permits.
One should also check with their Association (CC and Rs - often called covenants, conditions, and restrictions) as well as City, County and State to see that you are complying with any fencing laws, rules or requirements.
When you buy a home in a new subdivision, common interest development (CID), planned unit development (PUD), or co-op, chances are good that you also automatically become a member of an exclusive club -- the homeowners' association (HOA). The club's members include all the people who own homes in the same development.
The homeowners' association will probably exercise a lot of control over how you use your property.
CC and Rs
The transfer deeds to houses in new developments almost always include limitations on how the property can be used. Usually these limitations (CC and Rs) often called covenants, conditions, and restrictions. |
